Self-Check-in Information - Royal Kuhio


Checking-in is very quick.
In the apartment we have detailed apartment information (like Internet passwords, how to use the TV remote, etc) on the TV table or coffee table. You may call or text us anytime if you have any questions.

When you arrive at the building:

1) Call or text us from the lobby or driveway, the building allows about 15 minutes parking in the driveway.

2) You will need to take a picture of your ID and text or email it to us as we need to verify your personal identification as the person that booked the condo.

3) We will send you the lockbox code and apartment door code (these codes are changed after each guest). Inside the lockbox is an electronic key, called FOB. It is about the size of a quarter. This FOB is the building key for the doors, elevators, parking, etc.

 


To go to the lockbox.

Face the building then walk to the Right. If you are facing the street then walk to the LEFT. You will see a few stairs that leads to a large open area. Walk up the stairs then look to the Left and you will see all the lockboxes.




 


Our Lockbox
is under column 20, the 2nd lockbox from the bottom (the name Glorien is on the back).

   


Pull open the Black Cover and enter the code. Push down the Black Bar and pull open the metal cover.

After you remove the building FOB (key), please lock the lockbox and close the cover.

When you Check-Out you need the FOB for the parking elevator. After you exit the building please remember to return the FOBs to the lockbox.

If you Do Not have a car:

You can go straight to your apartment. The elevators to your apartment is on the LEFT side in the Lobby. FOB the door to enter. Read below (after parking directions) on how to get to your apartment.




 

If you have a car:

You can park your car in the building. The parking garage uses a separate elevator so after you park you will use the parking elevator to go down to the lobby. The apartment elevators are on the left side of the lobby. Or the right side when you exit the parking elevator.
 


The parking garage entrance is on Seaside Ave so you will need to exit the driveway and

1) If you Exit to the Right then turn immediately LEFT on to Royal Hawaiian Ave. Then turn LEFT on either of the next 3 streets going to Seaside Ave and turn LEFT again. The 3rd street is Kalakaua Ave the same street you initally came on.

2) OR you can exit the driveway and Turn LEFT on to Kuhio Ave then turn LEFT again on Seaside Ave (be careful on making this turn as Kuhio Ave is a busy Street).

Once on Seaside Ave the parking entrance is on the left side of the building near the end of the building.

To Enter the parking garage FOB the base station and the parking gate will open.  


 

The parking stall number is 2008 and it is on the 4th floor. The parking floors have half levels so you will need to make about 11 left turns before you reach our stall.

 

 

To Exit the parking garage: Just drive slowly to about 3 feet from the gate and the gate will automatically open. 

 


After you park, go to the elevator and FOB the base station then press the down button. Go to the lobby. When you exit the elevator turn to the Right for the apartment elevators.

 



FOB the doors to enter the apartment elevators. Our unit is on the 20th floor.

 
 

 

Exit the elevators and turn LEFT toward the hallway and turn LEFT again and go to the last unit on the right, unit 2008.




Open your apartment door.
Enter your door code. The "Schlage" button above the numbers will flash green. Then turn the door handle and push open the door.

Cleaning is very important to us and we use a professional cleaning company and they do an excellent job but if they missed something then please call us immediately and we will ask the cleaning person to come back today or tomorrow and take care of any problems.
